Abbey Hunter (she/her)

Abbey is an Honours student at the University of New Brunswick and is currently completing her BA in Psychology with a specialization in Neuroscience. Abbey has previously worked with the P-SEC research lab at UNB on a project exploring the lived experiences of LGBTQIA2S+ service members and their partners in the Canadian Armed Forces. More recently, she has worked as an Indigenous summer camp coordinator through Frontier College. Abbey’s Honours research is focusing on the experiences and treatment needs of people with concurrent eating disorders and substance use concerns. In the future, Abbey intends to pursue her Master of Social Work, and ultimately aims to work in the mental health field.
