A feasibility study examining the implementation of an eating disorder prevention program in Nova Scotia

The Body Project, a program that targets negative body image, has been shown to greatly reduce future onset of EDs. The program may have protective effects that last up to 4 years when the program is co-facilitated clinicians and by peers of the same sex and similar age.The Nova Scotia Provincial Service for Eating Disorders, the IWK, Dalhousie University, Schools Plus, Eating Disorders Nova Scotia, and research advisors with lived experience are partnering to study the use of The Body Project for youth in Nova Scotia.
