Sarah Sheppard (she/her)

Sarah Sheppard is a first-year student in the Clinical Psychology graduate program at the University of New Brunswick. She completed her B.A. at Vancouver Island University, where her honours thesis focused on the relationships between disordered eating and post-substance use treatment outcomes. Sarah has experience in both substance use and eating disorder treatment research. She worked as a research coordinator at an inpatient substance use treatment centre, evaluating patient perceptions of care. Additionally, she assisted on a project at the University of British Columbia-Okanagan, assessing the feasibility of mobile app-based interventions for eating disorders. Her graduate research will focus on improving the treatment of comorbid eating disorders and substance use disorders.
