Integrated treatment for concurrent eating disorders and substance use
Having both an eating disorder AND a substance use concern can make recovery complicated. We hope this set of studies will inform the development of treatment approaches that meet the needs of people with eating disorders and substance use concerns!
Examining the impact of peer mentors on individuals transitioning from youth to adult treatment
We are conducting this study to determine whether the use of peer mentors is an effective and acceptable means of transition support for youth with eating disorders.
A feasibility study examining the implementation of an eating disorder prevention program in Nova Scotia
The Body Project, a program that targets negative body image, has been shown to greatly reduce future onset of EDs. Together with our research partners, we are planning to implement and evaluate this program in Nova Scotia!
Development of body image and eating disorder symptoms: Normative and risky trajectories
